How I Support My Clients
I strive to build close relationships with my clients so I can fully understand their needs and aspirations. This allows me to offer practical, actionable advice and propose tailor-made solutions that align with their vision. My aim is to bring clients along the sustainability journey, involving them in key decisions and helping them deepen their understanding of the sustainability landscape. By doing so, each of their projects becomes more sustainable than the last. I also ensure that my reports clearly communicate sustainability recommendations in an accessible way, making it easier for clients to incorporate them into their projects.

I love tackling multi-faceted problems that require innovative solutions. Collaborating with diverse design team members, I enjoy pushing designs to be as sustainable as possible while still achieving the broader goals of the project.
Professional Background and Qualifications
I have over four years of experience decarbonising the built environment, with technical expertise in building physics modelling, embodied carbon, renewable technologies, and financial modelling. Through this knowledge, I can demonstrate the value of low-carbon solutions. My work spans retrofit and new build projects of all scales, from individual buildings to large estates and master plans. I hold a first-class (Hons) master’s degree (MEng) in New and Renewable Energy Engineering from Durham University.
The Thing That I Am Most Proud Of in My Career Is...
Leading the decarbonisation strategy for Inspired Villages has been a highlight of my career. Inspired Villages manages several operating retirement villages and has ambitious decarbonisation goals. I developed strategies to reduce operational and embodied carbon emissions for future villages, proposed retrofit measures for existing villages, and analysed scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions to advise on decarbonisation across their supply chain. Additionally, I created renewable generation and microgrid strategies for multiple proposed sites. It was incredibly rewarding to address all aspects of the company’s sustainability from a built environment perspective and see my proposals implemented in future designs.
Outside of Work...
You’ll often find me outdoors, either in the mountains or by the coast. I love trail running, surfing, hiking, and skiing—activities that allow me to connect with nature and recharge.
